Morocco

Ayyub, A Typical Moroccan Student
Share His Experience.

Arriving In Morocco

Ayyub’s first steps in Morocco evoke’s feeling of awe and
excitement. The sun beat down on his head, and though it
was the same sun he woke to in the states, the sun here felt
foreign and strange. This is his first time visiting a majority
Muslim country.

His Studies

Ayyub studies Arabic, visits local madrasah’s and the Moroccan community welcomes him as a student seeking knowledge. Insha Allah what had been strict, mechanical motions to prayer finds meaning in Morocco.

On His Way
Back Home

Ayyub realizes all students of knowledge are tied to each other by a single-minded devotion to serve Allah, and one day, he found that the sun no longer felt so foreign. He was amongst brothers and sisters who wanted nothing more than for him to grow closer to Allah. When Ayyub returns to US soil, he does so with a mission Insha Allah.
